These terms govern your use of mysite-name's removal and goods transport services in England. Please read them carefully before booking any services to ensure a clear understanding of our operations, customer responsibilities, and the service process.

1. Service Agreement

By booking services with mysite-name—whether through our website, telephone, or in-person consultation—you agree to these terms. Our transport services operate in compliance with relevant UK regulations including goods vehicle operator licensing and consumer protection laws.

We provide professional removal and goods transport services through our qualified team across England, addressing various transportation needs from house moves to commercial goods delivery.


2. Service Scope and Operational Capabilities

Our services include house removals, furniture transport, goods delivery, and commercial transportation. We handle items within our crew's physical capabilities and vehicle capacity limitations.

We reserve the right to decline work that involves hazardous materials, requires specialist equipment we don't possess, involves properties with unsafe access, or falls outside our operational capabilities.


3. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure efficient service delivery, customers agree to:

  • Provide accurate collection and delivery addresses with access details
  • Disclose any items requiring special handling or that are particularly valuable
  • Ensure safe access to properties and clear pathways for crew movement
  • Secure pets and remove obstacles before crew arrival
  • Make payment arrangements as agreed in the quotation

Proper preparation helps our crew work efficiently and safely at your property.


4. Quotation and Pricing Process

Services begin with a detailed assessment of your requirements to provide an accurate quotation. We provide transparent pricing including vehicle costs, crew time, travel charges, and any additional materials before confirming any booking.

Quotes are based on information provided at time of booking. Significant changes to requirements may result in price adjustments, with customer approval sought before proceeding.


5. Prohibited and Restricted Items

We cannot transport hazardous materials including flammable liquids, gases, toxic chemicals, firearms, ammunition, or perishable food items requiring refrigeration. Certain high-value items may require special arrangements and additional insurance.

Customers must declare any restricted items during the booking process. Transport of undeclared prohibited items may result in service termination.


6. Insurance and Liability Coverage

We maintain goods in transit insurance coverage for items we transport. Standard coverage limits apply unless additional insurance is arranged. Customers are advised to maintain their own insurance for particularly valuable items.

Insurance claims must be reported immediately upon delivery completion and supported by appropriate documentation and evidence.


7. Access and Parking Arrangements

Customers are responsible for ensuring vehicle access and parking availability at both collection and delivery locations. Any parking fees, congestion charges, or access permits required are the customer's responsibility unless otherwise agreed.

We cannot be held responsible for delays caused by inadequate parking or access restrictions at customer properties.


8. Crew Conduct and Property Care

Our crew members follow strict professional standards when working in your property. They will use protective materials on floors and surfaces, and exercise care when moving items through doorways and staircases.

While we take reasonable care, we recommend removing particularly delicate items or furnishings from areas where work will take place.


9. Service Timeframes and Delays

We provide estimated timeframes for service completion based on typical conditions. Actual times may vary due to traffic conditions, weather, access issues, or unexpected complexities with the move.

While we strive to meet estimated timeframes, we cannot guarantee specific completion times due to factors beyond our reasonable control.


10. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Bookings may be cancelled without charge with 48 hours' notice. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice may incur charges based on crew scheduling impact and preparation work completed.

Rescheduling is subject to availability and may involve price adjustments if the new date falls in a different pricing period.


11. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of service unless credit terms have been agreed in advance. We accept various payment methods including cash, bank transfer, and major credit/debit cards.

Deposits may be required for large moves or bookings made significantly in advance. Final invoices will reflect actual service time and any additional requirements encountered during the move.


12. Dispute Resolution Process

In the event of any service concern, we encourage direct communication with our operations manager to resolve issues promptly. Most concerns can be resolved through constructive discussion and mutually agreeable solutions.

If resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be handled under the laws of England and Wales through appropriate legal channels.


13. Force Majeure Circumstances

We cannot accept liability for delays or failures in service delivery caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather conditions, road closures, vehicle breakdowns, or industrial action.

In such circumstances, we will make reasonable efforts to notify customers promptly and arrange alternative solutions where possible.


14. Customer Property Security

While we exercise care with customer property, we recommend securing valuable personal items, documents, and sentimental objects separately rather than including them in the general move.

We maintain appropriate security measures during transit, but cannot provide specific security for individual items without prior arrangement.


15. Terms Modification

We reserve the right to update these terms periodically to reflect changes in our services, UK regulations, or industry practices. The current terms are always available on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updates.
